Her time

30. 6. 16

She has been feeling it for awhile now – that sense of awakening. There is a gentle rage simmering inside her, and it is getting stronger by the day. She will hold it close to her – she will nurture it and let it grow. She won’t let anyone take it away from her. It is her rocket fuel and finally, she is going places.
She can feel it down to her very core – this is her time.
She will not only climb mountains – she will move them too.

-  Lang Leav

We never stopped at nothing.

True colours

26. 6. 16

You should never be afraid of revealing your true colours. After all, what could be more beautiful than who you really are. Sure, to some you may be a mess of muddy dark browns or oil spill greens, but to others, you’ll sparkle blue like an ocean, you’ll glitter gold like a ring.

Be the light

22. 6. 16

I am most annoyed by people who point out other people’s insecurities and are just plain mean without a reason. Why not make somebody’s day and be kind? Be the one who finds gold. Be the one who builds people up, puts their insecurities to sleep, remind them they’re special and magical. Be light in a too often dim world. Be the best version of yourself and throw kindness around like confetti (*Chandler’s voice*: Can this post BE more clichéd?:D).

One of my goals in life is to be one of those people who are just light. Who radiate positivity, have the warmest look in their eyes and are genuinely genuine (oh dear :D). The type of people you would want to surround yourself with.

Anyway I feel like this post is a tad weird, so I better stop :D here are some outfit photos we took a few days ago, hope you like it :)

2016

19. 6. 16

Things I’ve learnt so far in 2016:
  • There is a difference between being really happy or just really comfortable
  • You don’t need to constantly justify yourself and are allowed to be kind to yourself. Eat ice cream at 3 am, take a rest day, take six rest days. Watch ten movies, buy that skirt you have been admiring. No explanations needed.
  • Life is fragile. And we have no control over it.
  • People don’t have to like you and you don’t have to care.
  • Perusing your dreams really pays off.
  • In dark points of life everybody looks like light.
  • When you post something personal online everybody thinks it’s about them.

The first half of the year brought me SO many changes, and 2016 has been like no other. I can’t wait to see what the second half has in store for me.

How's your 2016 going so far? :)

My favorite song ever:

My favorite graffiti in Ljubljana

15. 6. 16

“Some people become cops because they want to make the world a better place. Some people become vandals because they want to make the world a better looking place.”
- Banksy

As you may have noticed I am almost made of quotes and like taking photos of literally everything I find beautiful. So you can easily picture me always staying behind, dragging my camera/phone out in order to make just the perfect photo. Today's post is dedicated to my favorite graffiti across my beautiful hometown Ljubljana, even though that sadly some of them were painted over. But this is when being obsessed with taking photos comes in handy I guess :)

Hope you like it x

Happy things

12. 6. 16

A list of things that make me happy:
  • Baking lavender cookies
  • The golden hour
  • Harry Potter references
  • Alliterations
  • The smell after rain
  • Making up words
  • Silently giggling to myself because something funny popped into my mind
  • Art that gets me, films that get me, songs that get me, people who get me
  • New music, new books, new friends
  • Old music, old books, old friends
  • Making life decisions in the shower (and singing my lungs out alongside)
  • Thinking about all the leap days that didn’t happen
  • Making lists

Okay, enough about me. What makes you happy? :)

Daydreaming

5. 6. 16

What I am craving is: a week of barefoot living, where each night has a campfire, and then when it goes out, it's a salt and pepper jet black starry sky. I'd just love to wake up bundled right next to the ocean, with the sounds of waves as my alarm. Same with a long stretch of beach where I'd love lots and lots of hammock time, and just sitting there in silence. It would be a nice week without worries or wifi, with only backpack, a cozy blanket, a camera, great book, and a journal. And maybe a guitar. If I knew how to actually play one.
Basically some quality time that's off the grid, but totally filled with what I love. Yeah, that's what I'm craving. And if I'm going to be completely honest, I'd definitely have to throw some pizza and ice cream in there too. 'Cause I am pretty sure pizza tastes as good as skinny feels. Actually, it tastes even better #pizzaforevs.

“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”
